Day One

Defensive Shooting  Level-1

Carrying a firearm is one thing that way too often, people will do the bare minimum needed to carry in public. I have seen many people come to a required Handgun Carry Safety Course, and they can barely hit the specified target at 9 feet. But because they passed the state requirement, they think they’re ready for what could be one of the most fearful and chaotic moments of their life.

It's easy to pass a very basic fundamental's type program when you have all the time you need to hit the target, but can you neutralize the threat when the bad guy dictates how fast you need to shoot and you're on the hook for 100% accuracy? If your defensive strategy is, I'll "Pray and Spray," or "I just watched a Cop show on TV, and I got this!" You may find yourself at the mercy of the attacker, or even in prison and financially ruined because you just wanted to do the bare minimums.

That's why we have developed a Defensive Pistol Shooting (DPS) Level-1 curriculum; That guides you through the steps needed to go from just sending rounds downrange to training in specific, tested methods of armed self-defense. From stance to grip to physical shooting techniques, this course helps you hone the edge on your confidence and abilities to use a firearm. You'll get your body working with your gun instead of against it; you'll learn which intuitive skills work best with what your body will do naturally while under stress in a defensive situation. You'll learn to apply this information and effectively - regardless of your current skill level.

Day Two

Defensive Shooting Level-2

Defensive Pistol Shooting (DPS) Level-2 takes the skills introduced in “Level-1” and begins training your mind and body to respond defensively to real-life situations. Level-2 will guide you through the necessary skill needed for building drills and techniques that can make the difference between living or dying.

Level 2 will add to what you learned in level 1 by introducing an essential self-defense aspect, critical thinking. When you face a life-or-death situation, you are still required to get the shot right and know when not to shoot, and your actions can raise many questions. When questions are asked, and the answers don’t meet the “reasonable person” test, you may find yourself in legal and financial jeopardy.

Our program is designed to help you withstand the onslaught of investigations by providing you with the essential training needed to successfully prevail in a dynamic critical incident and better protect yourself in the aftermath when the Police, District Attorney, and others get involved. Remember, you only get milliseconds to decide on the best course of action, and everyone else gets days, weeks, and months to rip it apart.
