Defensive Shooting Fundamentals Level-1
Carrying a firearm is one of those things that way too often, people will do the bare minimum needed to carry in public. I have seen many people come to a required Handgun Carry Safety Course, and they can barely hit the specified target at 9 feet. But because they passed the state requirement, they think they’re ready for what could be one of the most fearful and chaotic moments of their life..
It’s easy to pass a very basic fundamental’s type program when you have all the time you need to hit the target, but can you neutralize the threat when the bad-guy dictates how fast you need to shoot and you're on the hook for 100% accuracy? If your defensive strategy is, I’ll “Pray and Spray,” or “I just watched a Cop show on TV, and I got this!” You may find yourself at the mercy of the attacker, or even in prison and financially ruined because you just wanted to do the bare minimums.
