Defensive Shooting Fundamentals Level-1

Carrying a firearm is one of those things that way too often, people will do the bare minimum needed to carry in public. I have seen many people come to a required Handgun Carry Saftey Course, and they can bearly hit the specified target at 9 feet. But because they passed the state requirement, they think they’re ready for what could be one of the most fearful and chaotic moments of their life.

It’s easy to pass a very basic fundamental’s type program when you have all the time you need to hit the target, but can you neutralize the threat when the bad-guy dictates how fast you need to shoot and you're on the hook for 100% accuracy? If your defensive strategy is, I’ll “Pray and Spray,” or “I just watched a Cop show on TV, and I got this!” You may find yourself at the mercy of the attacker, or even in prison and financially ruined because you just wanted to do the bare minimums.

That's why we use the USCCA Defensive Shooting Fundamentals Level-1 curriculum, it will guide you through the steps needed to go from just, sending rounds downrange to actually, training in specific, tested methods of armed self-defense. From stance to grip to physical shooting techniques, this course will help you hone the edge on your confidence and abilities to use a firearm. You'll get your body working with your gun instead of against it, you'll learn which intuitive skills work best with what your body will do naturally while under stress in a defensive situation. You'll learn to apply this information simply, and effectively - regardless of your current skill level.
