Defensive Pistol Shooting (DPS) Level-2 takes the skills introduced in “Level-1” and begins training your mind and body to respond defensively to real-life situations. Level-2 will guide you through the necessary skill needed for building drills and techniques that can make the difference between living or dying.
Level 2 will add to what you learned in level 1 by introducing an essential self-defense aspect, critical thinking. When you face a life-or-death situation, you are still required to get the shot right and know when not to shoot, and your actions can raise many questions. When questions are asked, and the answers don’t meet the “reasonable person” test, you may find yourself in legal and financial jeopardy.
Our program is designed to help you withstand the onslaught of investigations by providing you with the essential training needed to successfully prevail in a dynamic critical incident and better protect yourself in the aftermath when the Police, District Attorney, and others get involved. Remember, you only get milliseconds to decide on the best course of action, and everyone else gets days, weeks, and months to rip it apart.
